The story of Henry Hudson, funded by the Virgina and East India Trading Companies, on his fourth voyage from England, in 1610, while attempting to find a passage to China. Recorded in 1992, Discovery was brought to Peggy Webber by Norman Lloyd, who received the play from the author, Alexander Knox. Knox starred, as an actor, with the National Theatre, The Old Vic, and The Royal Shakespeare of Great Britain, before being nominated for an Academy Award in for his performance in the title role of Wilson.
